Women’s Ministry
Sandi Davis
All women ages 18 & up
You will find women of all ages – young mothers and grandmothers, single women, married women, career women, and stay-at-home moms at FPC. Every one is welcome here! We are women committed to strengthening our homes and families. We are women committed to spiritual growth for ourselves as well as those around us. We are women committed to touching the needs of our community. We are women committed to each other. We are women of worship and women of prayer.
Whether having fun on a trip or reaching out to a needy family, we are glad to be a part of FPC, and we are glad to be His! We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where Christian women of all ages and lifestyles can fellowship, grow, and bond together.

Since spring of 2004, the Women’s Ministry of the First Pentecostal Church of Baton Rouge and Pastor’s Wife Sandi Davis has hosted The Tea. This event, held in the spring of each year, is a highlight for the ladies of our church and their guests, featuring a delightful menu of homemade tea sandwiches and desserts, and an inspirational speaker.
The Tea, so far, has raised over $100,000.00 for Mothers Memorial through ticket sales, cookbook sales, and the Auction that is a prime part of The Tea programming. Nothing is quite as exciting as when the bidding heightens for particular items secured from missionaries from around the world. From tea cups from Russia to china service from the Far East, lace from Belgium and bone china from England, we have fun and raise missions funds!
